Quincy Anderson has been an exhibiting artist for over thirty years. Her sense of aesthetics and technique was greatly influenced by her study of calligraphy, haiga painting and tea ceremony in Japan. Her study of painting in France, Italy, and Greece brought the elements of architectural design into her work. Travels in Indonesia, Thailand and West Africa have also enhanced her imagery and love of pattern.
Since receiving her MFA from the University of Washington, Quincy has been an art instructor at many different institutions throughout Washington State.
Her work is represented by Howard / Mandville Gallery, Kirkland, WA and Museo Gallery, Langley, WA
